The Tivetshalls' Bio-Diversity Project
Over the coming months and years we as a council want to increase and protect our wild life, increase our woodland and wild flowers habitats, along with improving a parishioners well being through some simple steps.

Wild Flower Border
Introduce a 1 to 2 meter wild flower and fruit trees strip between the Play Park and the main Play Field. Thus creating a natural border between the to. Helping us to encourage wild life and give free fruit to the village.
Expand the area around the pond to include a wild flower, shrubs and seating.

Bats and Birds
We want all children (of all Ages) to build a Bat box or a Bird Box so we as a Council can locate these around our village to encourage nesting. (Click an image opposite)

Hedgehogs
We all know our beloved native Hedgehog is on the decline! We can all play a part in helping them please click the picture to find ways we can all help.

Bike Racks
Your Parish Council will be providing and installing 2 bike racks. The first will be located by the play Park and the second will be by the Village hall. This will hopefully encourage people to cycle to the areas and have a secure location to put the bikes while using the facilities
